Βιογραφία: Brad Pitt

 Ο ''όμορφός'' του Hollywood, Brad Pitt γεννήθηκε στις 13 Δεκεμβρίου 1963 στο Shawnee της Oklahoma. Μεγάλωσε όμως στο Springfield του Missouri και ήταν ο μεγαλύτερος από τα τρία του αδέλφια. Ο πατέρας του, Bill Pitt είχε μια εταιρεία μεταφορών και ο μητέρα του Jane ήταν οικογενειακός σύμβουλος. Αρχικά ο Brad ήθελε να ασχοληθεί με την καλλιτεχνική πλευρά της διαφήμισης και σπούδασε δημοσιογραφία στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Missouri. Ο νεαρός φοιτητής όμως είχε άλλες φιλοδοξίες, ένα παιδικό έρωτα για τις ταινίες, που τελικά επιβεβαίωσε το τελευταίο του τρίμηνο στη σχολή. Αφού τα παράτησε μόλις δυο μαθήματα πριν πάρει πτυχίο, κατευθύνθηκε δυτικά για να κυνηγήσει το υποκριτικό του όνειρο στο Los Angeles.

Ο Pitt είπε στους γονείς του ότι σκόπευε να γραφτεί στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών στην Pasadena. Όμως αντί για αυτό πέρασε τους επόμενους μήνες οδηγώντας μια λιμουζίνα, μεταφέροντας στριπτιζέζ από το ένα μπάτσελορ πάρτι στο άλλο, διανέμοντας καταψύκτες και προσπαθώντας να εισβάλλει στην καλλιτεχνική σκηνή του Los Angeles. Αργότερα αποφάσισε να γίνει μέλος μιας υποκριτικής σχολής. Όμως σε μια οντισιόν με μάνατζερ συνόδεψε μια συμμαθήτρια του, για καλή του τύχη ο μάνατζερ υπέγραψε με τον Brad και όχι την συμμαθήτρια του. Χρειάστηκε μερικούς μόνο μήνες είχε κιόλας μάνατζερ και σταθερή υποκριτική δουλειά.


Κέρδισε επάξια δυο φορές τον τίτλο του πιο σέξι άντρα στον κόσμο (αν και το 2008 έπεσε στη 15η θέση της λίστας). Μετά τον χωρισμό του με την Gwyneth Paltrow και μερικές σύντομες περιπέτειες, άρχισε το 1998 να βγαίνει με την Jennifer Aniston, πρωταγωνίστρια της σειράς Friends. Ο Pitt και η Aniston παντρεύτηκαν στο Malibu της California το 2000 με έναν εντυπωσιακό γάμο που κόστισε ένα εκατομμύριο δολάρια, κράτησε όμως μόνο πέντε χρόνια και το διαζύγιο κόστισε στον Brad κάτι περισσότερο από 60 εκ. δολάρια και την έπαυλη στο Beverly Hills, αξίας 30 εκ. δολαρίων.
Οι πρώτες του δουλειές ήταν στην τηλεόραση, όπου εμφανίστηκε σε επεισόδια της σειράς 'Dallas', την καθημερινή σαπουνόπερα 'Another World', την σειρά 'Growing Pains' και το 1990 στην μικρή σειρά του Fox, 'Glory Days'. Το 1989 ο Pitt έπαιξε τον Billy Canton, ένα ναρκομανή προαγωγό μιας έφηβης που το είχε σκάσει από το σπίτι της, ρόλο που έπαιξε η Juliette Lewis, σε μια παραγωγή του NBC 'Too Young To Die'. Ο Pitt και η Lewis άρχισαν να βγαίνουν τότε και αργότερα
συγκατοίκησαν. O Pitt έκανε το ντεμπούτο του στην μεγάλη οθόνη το 1989 με το θρίλερ «Cutting Class» με τον Donovan Leitch. Ο ρόλος του όμως στην ταινία του Ridley Scott, «Thelma and Louise» του 1991 ήταν που τράβηξε επάνω του παγκόσμια προσοχή. Ο συνδυασμός του ύφους του κακού παιδιού και το ερωτικό του ναζί, του εξασφάλισαν το χαρακτηρισμό του sex symbol.
Ακολούθησαν κάποιοι κακοί ρόλοι όπως στις ταινίες «The favour» (1992), «Johnny Suede» (1992), «Cool World» (1992). Αργότερα όμως εκείνη τη χρονιά έλαμψε στη ταινία του Robert Redford, «A River Runs Through It» (1992). Το 1993 ο Pitt συμπρωταγωνίστησε με την Juliette Lewis στη ταινία «Kalifornia» που δέχτηκε αμφιλεγόμενες κριτικές λόγω των έντονων σκηνών βίας. Αμέσως μετά διαλύθηκε και η σχέση τους. Ο Pitt αποφάσισε να διευρύνει το ρεπερτόριο του με έναν κωμικό ρόλο στη ταινία «True Romance» (1993) και μετά ακολούθησε η μοναδική του ερμηνεία στην διασκευή του βιβλίου της Anne Rice, «Interview With A Vampire» (1994) στο πλευρό του Tom Cruise.

Οι επόμενοι του ρόλοι του εξασφάλισαν μια θέση δίπλα στους μεγάλους και καθιερωμένους ηθοποιούς του Hollywood. Το 1994 έπαιξε στο επικό μελόδραμα «Legends Of The Fall» (με τον Anthony Hopkins) ενώ αμέσως μετά έκανε μια αιφνιδιαστική αλλαγή παίζοντας στο απόλυτα επιτυχημένο θρίλερ «Seven» (1995) με τον Morgan Freeman. Στα γυρίσματα γνώρισε και άρχισε να βγαίνει με την συμπρωταγωνίστρια Gwyneth Paltrow. Έμειναν μαζί για δυόμισι χρόνια και ήταν το αγαπημένο ζευγάρι του Hollywood, αλλά μετά από επτάμηνο αρραβώνα χώρισαν το 1997.

Το 1995 αρνήθηκε ρόλο στο Apollo 13 για να παίξει στο θρίλερ «Twelve Monkeys». Η ερμηνεία του, αναγνωρίστηκε και του έφερε ένα βραβείο Golden Globe για Β Ανδρικού Ρόλου και μια υποψηφιότητα για Oscar. Ακολούθησε το σκοτεινό θρίλερ «Sleepers» (1996) και η αποτυχημένη επιλογή να παίξει τον Ιρλανδό τρομοκράτη στο «Devil's Own» (1997) στο πλευρό του Harrison Ford. Αμέσως μετά κατευθύνθηκε στην Αργεντινή για τα γυρίσματα της ταινίας «Seven Years In Tibet» (1997) που δεν αποδείχτηκε επιτυχία, όπως και το «Meet Joe Black» (1998) όπου υποδύθηκε τον χάρο που εμφανίζεται για να πάρει τον Anthony Hopkins.

Οι συνεργασίες του με σπουδαίους ηθοποιούς συνεχίστηκαν. Ακολούθησαν το «Fight Club» με τον Edward Norton και το «Snatch» με τον Benicio Del Toro σε σκηνοθεσία Guy Ritchie. Το 2001 ήταν ο μικροαπατεώνας δεσμός της Julia Roberts στο «The Mexican» αλλά και ανερχόμενος κατάσκοπος στο «Spy Game» με τον Robert Redford. Ήταν ένας από τους 11 ληστές στο «Ocean's Eleven» με το all-star-cast των Roberts, Clooney, Damon και Garcia.

Το 2004 τον είδαμε στο ρόλο του Αχιλλέα στο επικό «Troy» με τους Orlando Bloom, Diane Kruger και Peter O'Toole ενώ την ίδια χρονιά επέστρεψε ως Rusty στο «Ocean's Twelve» (2004). Επόμενος σταθμός ένας ρόλος που τάραξε τα νερά στην προσωπική ζωή το «Mr and Mrs Smith» (2005). Η επί σκηνής συνάντησή του με την γοητευτική Angelina Jolie ήταν η αιτία για να διαλύσει τον γάμο του με την Jennifer Aniston, για χάρη της οποία μάθαινε ακόμα και Ελληνικά!
Έτσι από το 2005 μέχρι σήμερα είναι αχώριστος με την Jolie, γι αυτό και τους φωνάζουν χαϊδευτικά Brangelina. Εχουν τρία υιοθετημένα παιδιά, τον Maddox, τον Pax και τη Zahara. Το 2006 έφεραν στο κόσμο το πρώτο τους βιολογικό παιδί τη μικρή Shiloh Nouvel, η οποία μάλιστα είναι το πρώτο βρέφος που απέκτησε κέρινο ομοίωμα στο μουσείο της Madame Tussauds, στην ηλικία των δυο μόλις μηνών Ενώ  απέκτησαν και δίδυμα, τον Knox Leon και την Vivienne Marchreline όπως σκέπτονται να τα ονομασουν. Ενώ στα άμεσα σχέδια τους είναι η απόκτηση ακόμα δυο παιδιών!! Όπως οι ίδιοι  δήλωσαν.

Το 2006 πρωταγωνίστησε στο δραματικό «Babel» του Alexandro Gonzelez Inarritu, μια ταινία που κέρδισε το βραβείο καλύτερης σκηνοθεσίας στο φεστιβάλ των Καννών, τη Χρυσή Σφαίρα καλύτερης ταινίας και το Oscar καλύτερης μουσικής. Παρά τη δυναμική της ταινίας ο Pitt έμεινε μόνο με μια υποψηφιότητα στην κατηγορία Β' Ανδρικού ρόλου στις Χρυσές Σφαίρες. Η χημεία του με την 'παλιοπαρέα' τον έκανε να πει αμέσως "ναι" στην Τρίτη συνέχεια της περίφημης συμμορίας στο «Ocean's Thirteen» (2007).

Η συμμετοχή του στο  project «The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford», ανταμείφθηκε με το βραβείο Ανδρικής Ερμηνείας στο φεστιβάλ της Βενετίας το 2007. Στην πόλη των καναλιών βρέθηκε και το 2008 με το «Burn After Reading» των αδελφών Coen, όπου κρατά έναν 'κόντρα ρόλο' απέναντι στον φίλο του George Clooney και την Frances McDormand. Στην περίοδο των Χριστουγέννων έχει προγραμματιστεί η πρεμιέρα του «The Curious Case of Benjamin Button» (2008), όπου ο Pitt υποδύεται ένα άνθρωπο που γεννιέται γέρος και με τα χρόνια, η ηλικία του ακολουθεί αντίστροφη ροή από την κανονική.
Από το 2009 πρωταγωνίστησε στις ταινίες Inglourious Basterds (2009),  Megamind (2010), Moneyball (2011) The Tree Of Life (2011) Killing Them Softly (2012), World War Z (2013), The Counselor (2013), 12 Years A Slave (2013), Fury (2014), άλλες με επιτυχία και κάποιες όχι.

Movie news: Marvel Skipping San Diego Comic-Con This Year?

The Marvel panels at San Diego Comic-Con have become the stuff of legend. Without question, Marvel Studios’ annual visit to the convention’s Hall H has commandeered the most headlines over the course of Comic-Con weekend, with the comic giant mapping out major Marvel moves for a gathering of rabid fans. This year, however, Marvel’s making massive headlines months before San Diego Comic-Con by revealing – indirectly – that they might be sitting this year out.

 One of Marvel’s own, James Gunn, dropped the news very casually on Facebook during an impromptu Q-and-A. One fan asked if he’d be at San Diego Comic-Con this year, to which Gunn – the director of Guardians of the Galaxy -- dropped the following bombshell: 

 I'm not sure. Marvel isn't going so I'm not sure I will either.

Excuse me? That’s huge news, not just for the millions who trek to San Diego for Comic-Con, but for all of you who track the movement of Marvel Studios through their announcements in Hall H. Last year, the studio held its first official panel for Ant-Man, and showed the Hall H crowd finished test footage for the inch-sized hero in action. In years past, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has used Hall H as an opportunity to reveal subtitles for Marvel sequels like Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Avengers: Age of Ultron.


Shortly after dropping this news, Marvel fans suggested that James Gunn could be deceiving us. To which, he replied:

 

“@starglooms: @JamesGunn @DrunkenShots guys, he could be lying” I have never lied about anything to the fans, ever.

 There are, however, a number of reasons why Marvel can skip Comic-Con without it creating too much of a blip… at least, for the studio. Disney has its own mega-publicity event, D23, which it holds in Anaheim in August. Why drop Marvel news in July when you can capture everyone’s attentions a month later? Also, when Marvel has major news that it needs to drop, it has proven that it can now stage its own standalone event and grab all of the headlines. When Feige was ready to roll out Phase Three, he took to the stage of the El Capitan Theater in downtown Hollywood and held his own massive event.
Do you know who benefits from this? Or could benefit from this, is Marvel actually sidesteps San Diego Comic-Con this summer? DC and Warner Bros. The studio, in recent years, has gone early in the day on Saturday, and has played second fiddle to Marvel. But with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice coming next year, and a full slate of DC Universe movies to start promoting, the studio easily can fill the void with PLENTY of amazing superhero news items – starting with a long look at Dawn of Justice footage and some significant casting items.

Preview Ταινίας: Run All Night- Από 12 Απριλίου στους κινηματογράφους

Σε περίπου έναν μήνα θα κάνει πρεμιέρα η νέα περιπέτεια του Liam Neeson, ο οποίος συνεχίζει στο ίδιο μοτίβο καριέρας, το να πρωταγωνιστεί πλέον σε περιπέτειες και ψυχολογικά θρίλερ.

Η υπόθεση είναι η ιστορία ενός βετεράνου επαγγελματία δολοφόνου του Τζίμυ Κόνλον, που βρίσκεται μπροστά σε ένα εφιαλτικό δίλημμα, να προστατέψει από τις σφαίρες των επίδοξων εκτελεστών του, τον μονάκριβο γιο του που έχει μπλέξει  με τον υπόκοσμο ή να ακολουθήσει την εντολή του παλιού καλού του φίλου και πρώην αφεντικού του, στο να σκοτώσει τον υπ αριθμόν ένα ανεπιθύμητο του, που τυγχάνει να είναι ο ίδιος του ο γιος.

Kαταιγιστική δράση λοιπόν μας υπόσχεται και πάλι ο σκηνοθέτης  Jaume Collet-Serra, ο οποίος είχε συνεργαστεί και στο παρελθόν με τον Liam Neeson, στις ταινίες Non-Stop και Ο άγνωστος. Εάν και το Run All Night είναι παρόμοιου επιπέδου με αυτές τις ταινίες, τότε αναμένουμε μία εξαιρετική ταινία μυστηρίου.


To καστ εκτός από τον Liam Neeson, συμπληρώνουν οι Ed Harris, ο Joel Kinnaman ως γιος του και οι Nick Nolte και Vincent D’Onofrio. Η ταινία θα κάνει πρεμιέρα στις Ελληνικές αίθουσες στις 12 Απριλίου.

Βιογραφία: Robert De Niro

Ο Robert De Niro Jr. γεννήθηκε μέσα σε μια οικογένεια καλλιτεχνών στις 17 Αυγούστου 1943. Η μητέρα του Virginia Admiral, ήταν ζωγράφος και ο πατέρας του Robert ήταν ζωγράφος, γλύπτης και ποιητής. Μετά το χωρισμό των γονιών του μεγάλωσε με μεγάλη ελευθερία, αλλά τον βασάνιζε η μοναξιά. Στη γειτονιά του, επειδή ήταν κοκαλιάρης και χλωμός, του είχαν δώσει το παρατσούκλι 'Bobby Milk'.
Στα δέκα του έπαιξε τον πρώτο του ρόλο στο σχολείο, ένα ρόλο που του πήγαινε γάντι: το ντροπαλό λιοντάρι στο μάγο του Οζ. Την υποκριτική ξαναθυμήθηκε στα 16 όταν περιόδευσε σαν μέλος θιάσου με το έργο 'The Bear' του Τσέχοφ. Για τα επόμενα 15 χρόνια δοκιμάστηκε σε πολλά μικρά και περιφερειακά θέατρα, ενώ ταυτόχρονα μελετούσε - όπως όλοι οι πετυχημένοι της γενιάς του - με τη Stella Adler και τον Lee Strasberg.
Η πρώτη επαφή με τη μεγάλη οθόνη έγινε το 1963 υπό την καθοδήγηση του - νέου τότε - σκηνοθέτη Brian De Palma, στην ταινία «The Wedding Party», η οποία προβλήθηκε τελικά το 1969 και δεν σημείωσε επιτυχία. Μετά από μια σειρά κακών επιλογών, ήρθε και η πρώτη του - σχετική - επιτυχία το '73 με το «Bang the Drum Slowly», στο ρόλο του άρρωστου παίκτη του baseball Bruce Pearson. Αυτή η ερμηνεία, του έφερε την αναγνώριση και το βραβείο καλύτερου ηθοποιού από την ένωση κριτικών Νέας Υόρκης.
Την ίδια χρονιά ο De Niro συναντήθηκε με τον Martin Scorsese στο «Mean Streets», ξεκινώντας μια άριστη συνεργασία που μέχρι σήμερα έχει δώσει οκτώ σπουδαία φιλμ. Το 1974 έκανε το μεγάλο βήμα περνώντας στη σφαίρα των superstar. Σε αυτό τον βοήθησε ο Francis Ford Coppola και φυσικά η συμμετοχή του στο «The Godfather, Part II» στο ρόλο του νεαρού Vito Corleone. Για τις ανάγκες του ρόλου έζησε για τέσσερις μήνες στην Σικελία, μαθαίνοντας την δύσκολη τοπική διάλεκτο. Οι κόποι του απέδωσαν φέρνοντάς του το Oscar Β' Ανδρικού ρόλου.

Η επόμενη συνεργασία του με τον Martin Scorsese ήταν το 1976 στο «Taxi Driver», οπότε και ο De Niro μπήκε στο πετσί του ρόλου δουλεύοντας εξουθενωτικά 12ωρα οδηγώντας ταξί για έναν ολόκληρο μήνα και μελετώντας σχετικές περιπτώσεις ατόμων με ψυχολογικά προβλήματα. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν μια από τις πιο εμβληματικές ερμηνείες της δεκαετίας και μια υποψηφιότητα για Oscar A' Ανδρικού ρόλου.
Δύο χρόνια μετά η καριέρα του εκτοξεύεται από την συγκλονιστική ερμηνεία του στο «The Deer Hunter» (Ο Ελαφοκυνηγός) του Michael Cimino, όπου ο De Niro υποδύθηκε έναν άνθρωπο που οι εμπειρίες στον πόλεμο του Βιετνάμ, άλλαξαν τη ζωή του. Ήταν και πάλι υποψήφιος για Oscar Α' Ανδρικού, όμως το βραβείο τελικά ήρθε το 1981 για την ταινία «Raging Bull» και πάλι υπό τον Socrsese, όπου και πάλι έδωσε ψυχή και σώμα στην προετοιμασία για το ρόλο του.
Για να αποφύγει τον περιορισμό ρόλων αρχίζει να διευρύνει τις επιλογές του σε διάφορα κινηματογραφικά είδη: δράση, κωμωδία, δράμα. Ανάμεσά τους τα «The Mission», «Goodfellas» ξανά με τον Scorsese, «Awakenings» (υποψήφιος για Oscar Α' Ανδρικού ρόλου) και «Cape Fear» (ξανά υποψήφιος για Oscar Α' Ανδρικού ρόλου). Το 1987 συναντήθηκε και πάλι με τον Brian De Palma, στο εξαιρετικό «The Untouchables» ερμηνεύοντας τον θρυλικό Al Capone. Στις αρχές των 90's ο Robert De Niro έκανε το πέρασμα, δημιουργώντας την δική του εταιρία παραγωγής με το όνομα Tribeca Film Center. Το εγχείρημά του αυτό ίσως τον οδήγησε στην επιλογή ρόλων σε όχι και τόσο σημαντικές ταινίες την ίδια εποχή, όπως τα φιλμ «WeΑre No Angels», «Mary Shelley's Frankenstein» και το «The Fan».

Παρόλα αυτά η υποκριτική του αξία ποτέ δεν αμφισβητήθηκε και ο ίδιος επανέκαμψε αργότερα με ενδιαφέρουσες ταινίες όπως τα «Heat» (δίπλα στον Al Pacino) και «Casino». Στις ταινίες «Sleepers», «Great Expectations» και «Marvin's Room» έδειξε ότι μπορεί να αποδώσει και χαρακτήρες πιο χαμηλών τόνων, ενώ στα φιλμ «Jackie Brown», «Wag the Dog» αλλά και τα «Analyze This» και «Meet The Parents» (με τα sequel τους) έδειξε και τις κωμικές του ικανότητες, κρατώντας όμως στοιχεία από τους παλιούς καλούς σκληροτράχηλους ήρωές του.
Τα επόμενα χρόνια τον είδαμε και πάλι σε ρόλους που του είναι γνώριμοι. Ληστής τραπεζών στο «The Score» (2001), βασανισμένος αστυνομικός στο «City By The Sea» (2002) και πάλι αστυνομικός στα «Fifteen Minutes» και «Showtime». Μετά το αποτυχημένο «The Bridge Of San Luis Rey» (2004) επέστρεψε σκηνοθετώντας το κατασκοπικό «The Good Shepherd» (2006) κρατώντας και ένα ρόλο για τον εαυτό του. Μικρό ρόλο επέλεξε και στο «Stardust» την κινηματογραφική μεταφορά του βιβλίου του Neil Gaiman. Το 2008 πρωταγωνίστησε στο Ου φονεύσεις, παίζοντας ακόμη μία φορά στο πλευρό του Αλ Πατσίνο. Τα επόμενα χρόνια υποδύθηκε ρόλους στις ταινίες Goneis tis symforas, Machete, Απόλυτη ευφυΐα, Killer Elite, Alli mia nyhta, Διασταυρούμενα πυρά, Οδηγός αισιοδοξίας, O gamos tis hronias, Epikindyni oikogeneia, Last Vegas, Επιστροφή στο ρινγκ, Ο άνθρωπος με τη βαλίτσα.

Ο Robert De Niro αποδεικνύεται υπερ-προστατευτικός σε ότι αφορά την προσωπική του ζωή. Δίνει ελάχιστες συνεντεύξεις, ενώ πάντοτε αποκλείει εκ των προτέρων κάθε αναφορά στην προσωπική του ζωή. Για το λόγο αυτό είναι από τους αγαπημένους των σκανδαλοθηρικών περιοδικών, αφού δεν διαψεύδει τα δημοσιεύματά τους και δεν απαντά στις προκλήσεις τους. Έχει κάνει δύο γάμους: το 1976 με την ηθοποιό και τραγουδίστρια Diahnne Addott (χώρισαν το 1988) και το 1997 ο De Niro παντρεύτηκε με την πρώην αεροσυνοδό Grace Hightower. 

Το 2003 προκάλεσε συγκίνηση στην κοινή γνώμη η ανακοίνωσή του ότι πάσχει από καρκίνο του προστάτη. Πάλεψε με την ασθένεια και κατάφερε πλήρη θεραπεία, επιστρέφοντας πιο δυνατός. Τον Ιούνιο του 2006, ο De Niro δώρισε όλο το κινηματογραφικό του αρχείο, στο οποίο περιλαμβάνονται σενάρια και κουστούμια, στο Harry Ransom Center του πανεπιστημίου του Τέξας.
Έχοντας μόλις περάσει τα 71 χρόνια ζωής, ο Robert De Niro μπορεί να θεωρηθεί ως ένας από τους πλέον πολύπλευρους και χαρισματικούς ηθοποιούς τις γενιάς του, με πολλά σχέδια μπροστά του. Ένας ηθοποιός που μάλλον δεν θα συνταξιοδοτηθεί ποτέ.

Movie news:Mission: Impossible 5′ Director Talks Trailer Release, Tone & Plot Details

 Mission: Impossible 5, the highly anticipated sequel to the smash hit Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, was originally set to come out in theaters this Christmas. However, due to the presence of a little indie film called Star Wars: The Force Awakens (which opens a week earlier), Paramount opted it would best serve their product if they moved it to a less competitive time frame, settling on July 31, 2015.
Fans are no doubt excited that the next installment in the long-running action franchise will be arriving five months earlier than expected, but the decision presents quite a logistical nightmare for the marketing department. Initially, they believed they would have all year to put together a campaign, and now their time has been cut in half. With so little time to go before the film comes out, when will we see some marketing materials? According to director Christopher McQuarrie: soon.

The filmmaker took part in an extensive Q&A session on Twitter that exclusively dealt with M:I 5. Throughout the pre-production phase of M:I 5, nothing was said of their potential involvement; in Patton’s case, it was largely expected she would be sitting this one out. She was working on Duncan Jones’ Warcraft and Rebecca Ferguson was cast as a character described as “Tom Cruise’s right-hand woman.”

  Paramount will have to work overtime to get M:I 5 up to that level, as the last-minute change removes the luxury of gradual reveals. They need to hit the ground running now, and hopefully McQuarrie’s tweets are just the beginning of a bevy of M:I 5 information this month.

Αυτά τα λίγα μπορώ να πω για τον τεράστιο Αλ Πατσίνο που στο Άρωμα Γυναίκας παραδίδει μαθήματα ανθρώπινου πόνου και αλλά και αγάπης για την ζωή.Το ότι πήρε το Όσκαρ για αυτήν την ερμηνεία λέει πολλά.

Βασισμένο στη νουβέλα του Giovanni Arpino “Il Buio E Il Miele”, το “Άρωμα Γυναίκας”, αποτελεί τη δεύτερη κινηματογραφική μεταφορά, μετά την ιταλική έκδοσή του το 1974 με τίτλο “Il Profumo Di Donna”. Το “Άρωμα Γυναίκας” βέβαια, έγινε το πλέον γνωστό απ’ τα δύο στο ευρύ κοινό κι όχι άδικα θεωρείται μία απ’ τις κορυφαίες ταινίες της δεκαετίας του ’90, αν κι όχι όλων των εποχών.

ΥΠΟΘΕΣΗ
Ο νεαρός φοιτητής Charlie Simms(Chris O'Donnell), την επομένη μιας φάρσας στον Πρύτανη του Πανεπιστημίου που φοιτά, αναλαμβάνει να φροντίσει για ένα Σαββατοκύριακο τον βετεράνο Συνταγματάρχη Frank Slade(Al Pacino). Αυτή του η απόφαση θα του αλλάξει για πάντα την ζωή. Διότι ο Συνταγματάρχης έχει άλλα σχέδια, και θα πάρει τον νεαρό φοιτητή σε ένα ταξίδι μαζί του μέχρι την Νέα Υόρκη όπου έχει αποφασίσει να αυτοκτονήσει.Μαζί θα ζήσουν τέτοιες καταστάσεις που θα τους κάνει να αναθεωρήσουν για το πως βλέπουν την ζωή και τις συνέπειες των αποφάσεων τους.

ΣΚΗΝΟΘΕΣΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΕΡΜΗΝΕΙΕΣ
Οι διάλογοι τσακίζουν κόκαλα με την σκληρότητα, αλλά και με την αλήθεια τους. Τα πράγματα δεν είναι πάντα ωραία στην ζωή, αλλά παρουσιάζονται έτσι όπως ακριβώς είναι. Είτε είναι καλά, είτε είναι άσχημα. Άλλωστε η ζωή, όπως και τα νομίσματα, έχει δύο όψεις και  οφείλουμε να μάθουμε να ζούμε και με τις δύο. Ο Martin Brest σκηνοθετεί μια πραγματικά όμορφη κι ιδιαίτερη ταινία, άλλωστε ποιος μπορεί να ξεχάσει την σκηνή με το ταγκό, ή την σκηνή με την κόκκινη φερράρι που οδηγεί ο τυφλός Αλ Πατσίνο.Φυσικά το καλύτερο είναι το τέλος, εκεί οπού ο Πατσίνο εκφωνεί έναν από τους πιο συγκινητικούς λόγους στην ιστορία του σινεμά.Τα λόγια του πραγματικά σε κάνουν ν’ ανατριχιάζεις και ίσως βλέποντας την ταινία, θα έπρεπε να τα λάβουμε σοβαρά υπ’ όψιν μας. H ταινία είναι "παλιά'' αλλά είναι πραγματικά διαχρονική όσα χρόνια και αν περάσουν.Το μεγαλείο ζωής που μεταδίδει είναι αξιομνημόνευτο.

Movie news:American Sniper Becomes the Highest-Grossing Film of 2014

You may remember back in late January when we reported that The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 had taken over the top spot as Hollywood's biggest domestic hit of 2014. At that time, we were fairly certain that the numbers wouldn't change, and with good reason: how could any other film from last year make more money when we were already almost a month into 2015? Well, it turns out that strange things happen every day, and that's why in March 2015 we are now crowning Clint Eastwood's American Sniper as the box office champion of last year.

The most recent numbers are in over at Box Office Mojo, and with its $4.5 million take this weekend, the movie has now eclipsed The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 as the biggest domestic release to initially be released in 2014. To date, the war film has brought in a grand total of $337.2 million here in the United States, which is just a little more than the $336.9 million that the most recent Hunger Games installment brought in.

Some may argue that American Sniper's box office ranking for the year 2014 should come with an asterisk. While the movie did initially get a limited release last Christmas - allowing it to qualify for the Academy Awards - it didn't actually get a wide release until January 16th. In reality, the Clint Eastwood film only made $1,329,299 last year - only about .4 percent of its gross to date.
What may wind up disappointing Hunger Games fans more than losing the top spot for 2014 is that this news means that the franchise as a whole loses a bit of clout. Paired with the success of 2013's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the series spent a few weeks as the only one in cinema history to have two titles top the box office two years in a row. Obviously, that's no longer the case.


The silver lining that Hunger Games fans can walk away with is the fact that Mockingjay - Part 1 is absolutely crushing American Sniper in theaters abroad - pulling in $414 million in foreign territories versus $163 million for the Eastwood title. Of course, neither come anywhere close to the money made by Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction, which took in an international total of over $1 billion. On the list of worldwide grosses, the recent Hunger Games entry is currently ranked at number five, while American Sniper is positioned at number 16.

Later this year, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 - the franchise finale - will be given the opportunity to become the biggest box office champion of 2015 - though it does face some rather stiff competition in the form of both Joss Whedon's The Avengers: Age of Ultron and J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens. To get back to my original point, however, strange things happen every day.

Movie news:Octavia Spencer To Play God In The Shack, Get The Details

Over the years we've seen many actors portray God on the big screen, from George Burns to Morgan Freeman, but now it is apparently Octavia Spencer's time toe become omnipotent and all-powerful. This is because she is now in final negotiations to play God in an adaptation of the novel The Shack, which is now in the works over at Lionsgate.

Variety has gotten the scoop on this casting, reporting that newcomer director Stuart Hazeldine will be at the helm of the project. The book, penned by author William P. Young, centers on a man named Mackenzie Allen Phillips, who is devistated following the abduction of his youngest daughter, Missy, during a family vacation. Following an investigation, it appears that the girl has been brutally murdered, with evidence discovered in an abandoned shack in Oregon. Four years late, Mackenzie receives a note inviting him back to that shack - but rather than being from a murderer who is taunting him, the letter is actually from God. He makes the trip to the place of his nightmares, but it is there that he "finds something there that will change his life forever."

As you might have been able to tell by this point, The Shack is considered a Christian novel, and while it was initially self-published, it has gone on to be a huge hit. Since it was released in 2007, 18 million copies have been sold worldwide, and it was the #1 paperback trade fiction seller on The New York Times Best Seller list for nearly two years. Given this built-in audience, it's not a huge surprise that Lionsgate is trying toe make a movie out of it - though its worth noting that they've been sitting on the rights since early 2013.

Since her big win at the 2012 Academy Awards for her performance in The Help, Octavia Spencer has been rather all over the place, working on both film and television projects. Some of her most notable titles have includes James Ponsoldt's Smashed, Ryan Coogler's Fruitvale Station, Joon-ho Bong's Snowpiercer, and the Steven Spielberg-produced television series Red Band Society. She'll very soon be seen in the blockbuster Divergent sequel, Insurgent (which comes out on March 20th), though she also has two more completed projects under her belt and coming out soon in The Great Gilly Hopkins (with Julia Stoles, Kathy Bates and Glenn Close) and Fathers and Daughters (with Aaron Paul, Amanda Seyfried and Russell Crowe).

The Shack is still in pre-production, but there is a plan in place to having filming start some time this spring. Lionsgate has not yet announced a release date, but it wouldn't be a huge shock to see this movie make its way to theaters either at Christmas time, or maybe even timed with Easter next year.

Movie news:Captain Marvel In Guardians Of The Galaxy 2? Here's What James Gunn Says

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 may not be hitting theaters until 2017, but that doesn't mean we can't prod for details now, right? That's exactly what a Twitter user recently did when he asked director James Gunn for confirmation on whether or not Captain Marvel would appear in the highly-anticipated GOTG sequel. Unfortunately for the inquiring mind (and all others who were hoping for good news), Gunn's answer was a resounding "no."

Gunn is notorious for sharing cool tidbits and interesting information about his films on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter. He is pretty blunt with his thoughts and fans seem to respect that about him. Unfortunately with that type of a dynamic, sometimes fans are going to be let down, like in the recent Twitter interaction where Gunn definitively put the kibosh on theories that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 would integrate Captain Marvel into its script. Here's the writer/director's tweet:

 @DrunkenShots: Still wondering if Captain Marvel will appear in #GoTG2" Getting this a lot this morning. As I said months ago, no, sorry.

So it looks like those of us, excited at the prospect of Ms. Carol Danvers appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, have officially got to let go. Gunn couldn't have been any clearer. Could he be trying to pull one over?, Sure, but it's highly unlikely, because if that were the case, the director (who's never one to hold back) would likely leave us a bit more in suspense.

Prior to today, we were led to believe (somewhat indirectly, I'll admit) that Danvers' appearing in Guardians 2 was a still very real possibility. About six months ago, Gunn said he planned on introducing other female superheroes into the "the world of Guardians as soon as he [can]," and while he dismissed the idea of Captain Marvel appearing, he was a bit vague, focusing more on the fact that he wanted Chris Pratt's Peter Quill/Star-Lord to remain the single "earthling" connection to the mother planet.

Carol Danvers may be out of the question as far as making an appearance in Guardians 2 but from the sounds of it Gunn is dead-set on incorporating more female characters into his 2017 sequel. Of course we already have Zoe Saldana's Gamora and her half-sister Nebula (Karen Gillan). Then there is Angela, Moondragon, Phyla-Vell and Mantis... at least one of which we'll likely see enter the picture. 

Regardless of which characters Gunn decides to bring onboard, the sequel to his 2014 blockbuster smash hit promises to be epic. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is expected to hit theaters May 5, 2017. A lot will go down before that, however, beginning with Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015), Ant-Man (July 17, 2015) and the first installment of MCU Phase 3, Captain America: Civil War (May 6, 2016).

Οι Ghostbusters επιστρέφουν και είναι όλες γυναίκες.

Η μεγάλη επιτυχία των 80s επιστρέφει στην μεγάλη οθόνη.Ο σκηνοθέτης Paul Feig, και ο Dan Aykroyd που θα υπογράφει το σενάριο, υπόσχονται ένα εκπληκτικό reboot της σειράς.


Μάλιστα το νέο χαρακτηριστικό είναι πως η ομάδα θα είναι όλη γυναικεία..Ναι, πολύ καλά διαβάσατε, όλοι οι νέοι Ghostbusters θα είναι γυναίκες.Αν μη τι άλλο μία ενδιαφέρουσα κίνηση που θα φανεί πως θα αντιμετωπιστεί απο το κοινό.

Movie news:Sigourney Weaver Hopes to Cameo in ‘Ghostbusters’ Reboot

With this weekend’s release of Neil Blomkamp’s Chappie, and the recent fervor over FOX’s decision to greenlight another Alien film, sci-fi legend Sigourney Weaver suddenly finds herself thrust back into a level of spotlight she hasn’t seen since perhaps the 2009 release of James Cameron blockbuster Avatar.
With pop culture attention now firmly back on the former Ellen Ripley, it’s only natural that talk has turned to Weaver possibly being involved with the upcoming reboot of that other big ’80s franchise she’s become indelibly associated with: Ghostbusters.
Screen Rant asked Weaver how she feels about the prospect of returning – and of a Ghostbusters reboot in general – during a recent Chappie press junket in NYC:

SR: I know ‘Ghostbusters’ has made this huge announcement about how they are going to be continuing the franchise. But for a long time, you and the rest of the original cast were kind of on this bubble of, ‘Will you guys be back?’ and now they have kind of gone in this different direction. How do you feel about that?
Weaver: I think that’s awesome. I think it’s great. I think it’s going to be fantastic. I can’t wait to see it.
SR: Will we ever see you pop up anywhere in there?
Weaver: They might have us pop up as marshmallow men or something and then destroy us. I don’t know. I hope they will think of some silly way for us to be in it. Maybe I could play that ancient librarian who goes [makes noise].

With so much of the discussion of Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot constantly centered on the titular team now being all-female, it would seemingly make a ton of sense for Feig and/or Sony to reach out to the actress most readily identified with the original franchise.
While she may have never outright suited up and joined the team, Weaver’s character Dana Barrett was arguably the most important non-Ghostbuster in either prior film, serving as alternately an object of affection for Dr. Peter Venkman to save (in the first film) and as a proactive mom fighting for the life of her child while coming to terms with her feelings for Peter (in the second).
Of course, the extent of Weaver’s involvement in Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot might depend more on the writer/director’s creative ambitions than the actresses’ willingness to return for a cameo. Feig has stressed previously that his Ghostbusters will not exist within the same continuity as the original films, which greatly limits Weaver’s potential role.


Weaver’s idea of popping up as a spook to get busted is certainly possible in this scenario, but one can’t help wondering whether Feig would have been better off keeping a loose continuity in place that might have allowed a now supernaturally-experienced Dana Barrett to make a helpful cameo in which she offers advice to the young Ghostbusters.
It wouldn’t even really be necessary to involve the male cast members, as Dana could be given a throwaway line about the old team being happily retired. Of course, that would violate Feig’s creative edict that the two universes’ not tie together much beyond the occasional sly reference, so as of now that scenario can only exist in the minds of fans. For better or worse, the new Ghostbusters will have to stand on their own.

Spider-Man: Πολλοί θέλουν τον ρόλο του, ποιός θα τον πάρει?

 Ακόμη ένας νεαρός ηθοποιός προστέθηκε στη λίστα της Μarvel για τον ρόλο του νέου Spider-Man, όπως δήλωσε και ο ίδιος.Ο λόγος για τον Freddie Highmore(Ο Τσάρλι και το εργοστάσιο σοκολάτας), εκείνος ο μικρός αν τον θυμάστε στην ταινία με τον Johnny Depp, ο οποίος μιλώντας στο IGN παραδέχτηκε πως με χαρά θα έπαιρνε τον ρόλο του ανθρώπου-αράχνη αν του δινόταν η ευκαιρία. 


Βέβαια ακόμα δεν ξέρουμε αν θα είναι ο Peter Parker ή ο Miles Morales όμως σε λίγο καιρό θα έχουμε νεότερες πληροφορίες. Λοιπόν, θέλετε θριλεράκι γεμάτο μυστήριο και ανατροπές? Εδώ είμαστε, στο σπίτι των ονείρων. Θυμάμαι όταν  είδα την είδα την ταινία είχα πει σε κάποια στιγμή:Τι λες τωρα????

 ΥΠΟΘΕΣΗ
Ο  εκδότης Γουίλ Άτεντον( Daniel Craig) παρατάει την  δουλειά του στο Μανχάταν και μετακομίζει με τη σύζυγό του, Λίμπι(Rachel Weisz), και τις δύο κόρες του σε μια γραφική πόλη της Νέας Αγγλίας. Μόλις ξεκινούν, όμως, τη νέα ζωή τους, ανακαλύπτουν ότι το σπίτι που θεωρούσαν τέλειο  ήταν το μέρος στο οποίο είχαν δολοφονηθεί στο παρελθόν μια μητέρα και τα παιδιά της. Και ολόκληρη η πόλη πιστεύει ότι δολοφόνος ήταν ο επιζών σύζυγός της. Οταν ο Γουίλ αποφασίζει να ερευνήσει το θέμα, δεν είναι σίγουρος αν πρόκειται για κακόγουστη φάρσα ή εάν αυτή η τραγική ιστορία έχει όντως συμβεί μέσα στο σπίτι του. Τα μόνα στοιχεία που έχει στη διάθεσή του μπορεί να τα βρει μόνο από την Αν Πάτερσον(Naomi Watts), μια μυστηριώδη γειτόνισσα που γνώριζε τα θύματα. Και καθώς προσπαθούν να κολλήσουν τα κομμάτια του παζλ, πρέπει να βρουν και ποιος δολοφόνησε την οικογένεια, πριν επιστρέψει για να σκοτώσει ξανά. Η τα πράγματα δεν είναι έτσι όπως φαίνονται?
ΣΚΗΝΟΘΕΣΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΕΡΜΗΝΕΙΕΣ
Ο σκηνοθέτης Jim Sheridan(Εις το όνομα του πατρός), δημιουργεί ένα τρομακτικό ψυχολογικό θρίλερ που σε κρατάει σε αγωνία μέχρι το τέλος. Οι Daniel Craig και Rachel Weisz είναι εξαιρετικοί και απογειώνουν με τις ερμηνείες τους το μυστήριο που υπάρχει στην ταινία. Σίγουρα είναι μία ταινία για το βράδυ με παρέα  και έχει πολλές ανατροπές και μυστήριο που δεν βαριέσαι. Η ταινία προβλήθηκε στις 24 Νοεμβρίου 2011 στην Ελλάδα και κυκλοφορεί σε DVD.

Movie news:Another Avenger Has Been Added To Captain America 3

In less than two months Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron will blast into theaters with what's sure to be the most epic onscreen Marvel showdown to date. But with Captain America: Civil War slated for a mid 2016 release, viewers are going to be treated to a massive follow-up battle that will set the stage for an unprecedented MCU Phase 3. While the bulk of Steve Rogers' team has already been confirmed for the third Cap installment, it wasn't until now that we got confirmation that Hawkeye will also show face.

We know Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Spider-Man (unknown) and likely Crossbones (Frank Grillo) will be appearing but thus far have only heard rumors that Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye will be a part of the massive battle set to go down in Captain America: Civil War. Now, thanks to a THR, we officially know Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) has also been confirmed with said shooting to begin this spring. This is likely good news for Renner, who has seemingly been as much in the dark as the rest of us regarding his character Hawkeye/Clint Barton's inclusion in the film.

 Last we heard (a few months back) the actor not only revealed his having no clue as to whether he'd be a part of things in Cap 3, he further shared that he hadn't yet had "any official conversations" on the subject.

Renner's being in the dark about his character's part in Captain America: Civil War isn't all that shocking, however, as we've come to learn it's critical in minimizing plot spoiler information when dealing with movies of this magnitude. If one thing is for certain, Hawkeye, who wasn't included in events of the last Cap installment, The Winter Soldier, has got to be thrilled to be back. I can speak for myself in saying it will definitely be exciting to see which side he will be on in the aftermath of the Superhero Registration Act. Will he align with Tony Stark and the rest of the pro-registration forces or will he join the anti-reg movement led by Rogers, Falcon and others?

Only days ago we saw Hawkeye's solo Avengers 2 poster arrive with the superhero looking more somber than ever. Prior to today one might conclude, with the latest Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer dropping hints there may be a major casualty in the upcoming film, that it could be hinting at Hawkeye's not surviving. Knowing he will indeed appear in Joe and Anthony Russo's Captain America: Civil War is, however, proof positive to the contrary.

Get ready for Avengers: Age of Ultron, hitting theaters May 1, 2015. This, along the Paul Rudd-led Ant Man, will certainly tide us over until 2016's Phase 3 launch with Cap 3.

Η χρήση ναρκωτικών έγιναν ο εφιάλτης της ζωής του καθώς του δημιούργησε πολλά προβλήματα, τόσο στην επαγγελματική όσο και στην προσωπική ζωή του. Ο ίδιος λέει ότι ο πατέρας του είναι εκείνος που τον μύησε στον κόσμο των ναρκωτικών όταν σε ηλικία 8 χρονών του έδωσε να δοκιμάσει ένα τσιγάρο με μαριχουάνα. Έχει πολλές φορές  συλληφθεί, φυλακισθεί και οδηγηθεί σε κέντρα αποτοξίνωσης, όμως πάντα καταφέρνει να κάνει εντυπωσιακά 'come back'.
Φυσικά ο λόγος για τον Robert Downey Jr που γεννήθηκε στις 4 Απριλίου το 1965 στο Greenwich Village στη Νέα Υόρκη. Ο πατέρας του Robert Downy Senior είναι σκηνοθέτης underground ταινιών και η μητέρα του Elsie Ford τραγουδίστρια και χορεύτρια. Η πρώτη του κινηματογραφική εμφάνιση ήταν στην ηλικία των 5 ετών στην ταινία του πατέρα του «Pound» όπου είχε το ρόλο ενός κουταβιού. Έφυγε από το σχολείο στα 17 του και πήγε στη Νέα Υόρκη για να γίνει ηθοποιός. Εμφανίστηκε σε διάφορες ταινίες και τηλεοπτικές σειρές («Firstborn» (1984), «Weird Science» (1985), «America» (1986 πάλι σε σκηνοθεσία του πατέρα του) και συμμετείχε στο 'Saturday Night Live' για ένα χρόνο (1985-1986).
H σημαντικότερη στιγμή της καριέρας του μέχρι τότε, ήρθε όταν το 1992 προτάθηκε για Όσκαρ Α Ανδρικού ρόλου για την ερμηνεία του ως Charlie Chaplin στο βιογραφικό φιλμ του Sir Richard Attenborough «Chaplin» ενώ για τον ίδιο ρόλο κέρδισε βραβείο BAFTA. Ακολούθησαν το «Heart and Souls» (1993) με συμπρωταγωνιστές τους Charles Grodin και Kyra Sedgwick και το «Short Cuts» (1993) του Robert Altman στο οποίο εμφανίστηκε με την τότε σύζυγό του, Deborah Falconer. Τα σοβαρά προβλήματα με τις ουσίες και τον νόμο ξεκίνησαν το 1996, όταν συνελήφθη για οδήγηση υπό την επήρεια αλκοόλ και στο αυτοκίνητό του βρέθηκε ποσότητα ηρωίνης και ένα όπλο. Καταδικάστηκε σε 3 χρόνια φυλάκιση με αναστολή και όταν το 1999  παραβίασε την αναστολή του για άλλη μια φορά, καλέστηκε να εκτίσει την ποινή του.  Τελευταία φορά που συνελήφθει ήταν το 2001 αλλά δεν του απαγγέλθηκαν τελικά κατηγορίες. Από τότε υποτίθεται ότι είναι 'καθαρός'. Ο Downey δεν δίστασε να διακωμωδήσει και ο ίδιος την εξάρτηση του σε ένα επεισόδιο του Saturday Night Live που παρουσίασε το 1996.
Παρά τα προβλήματα όμως, εξακολούθησε να γυρίζει ταινίες  στο διάστημα 1996-2000. Ανάμεσά τους οι «Restoration», «One Night Stand» με τους Wesley Snipes και Nastassja Kinski, «Two Girls And A Guy» (1997) στο οποίο έπαιξε μουσική από ένα τραγούδι που είχε γράψει ο ίδιος, «The Gingerbread Man» (1998) του Robert Altman, «US Marshals» (1998) sequel του «The Fugitive», «In Dreams» του Neil Jordan και η κωμωδία του Frank Oz με τους Steve Martin και Ed Murphy «Bowfinger». Η καριέρα πήρε άλλη στροφή  όταν ανέλαβε το ρόλο του ερωτικού ενδιαφέροντος της Ally McBeal στην ομώνυμη πολύ πετυχημένη τηλεοπτική σειρά για δύο χρόνια (2000-2002). Ρόλο που τελικά έχασε μετά την τελευταία σύλληψή του, αφού πρώτα απέσπασε Χρυσή Σφαίρα για την ερμηνεία του.
Στα γυρίσματα του θρίλερ «Gothika» (2003) όπου υποδυόταν ένα ψυχίατρο σε ίδρυμα γνώρισε την παραγωγό της ταινίας Susan Downey με την οποία είναι παντρεμένος μέχρι σήμερα. Έπειτα συμμετείχε στο σπονδυλωτό «Eros» (2004) στην μικρού μήκους που σκηνοθέτησε ο Steven Soderbergh, στο πολύ καλό pulp «Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang» (2005) με συμπρωταγωνιστή τον Val Kilmer και το «Good Night And Good Luck» (2005) σε σκηνοθεσία του George Clooney. Τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια τα credits του περιλαμβάνουν από πολύ καλές («Zodiac», 2007) μέχρι πολύ κακές («Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus», 2006) ταινίες.
Όμως το 2008 έκανε το πιο δυναμικό come back της καριέρας του ως Tony Stark στο «Iron Man», την πρώτη ταινία που βασίζεται σε υπέρ-ήρωα της στην οποία η ίδια η Marvel ανέλαβε την παραγωγή. Τεράστια εισπρακτική επιτυχία ενώ ταυτόχρονα οι κριτικές ήταν διθυραμβικές.  Το 2009 υποδύθηκε τον Sherlock Holmes  στην ομώνυμη ταινία με μεγαλη επιτυχία, τόση ώστε το 2011 να παίξει ξανά στο Sherlock Holmes 2: Το παιχνίδι των σκιών.Το 2012 πρωταγωνίστησε ως  Tony Stark στην ταινία Avengers που έκανε συνολικές εισπράξεις παγκοσμίως άνω του 1 δισ. δολλαρίων.Το sequel το αναμένουμε στις 30 Απριλίου 2015.Η τελευταία του ταινία ήταν το 2014 με τίτλο Ο δικαστής, που συμπρωταγωνίστησε με τον  Robert Duvall.

Cine news:Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye Confirmed For ‘Captain America: Civil War’

  

If the hints about “death” from Avengers: Age of Ultron writer and director Joss Whedon made you worry that Earth’s Mightiest marksman may see his last bit of screen time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe this summer, worry no longer. Jeremy Renner, who plays Clint “Hawkeye” Barton in The Avengers and its upcoming sequel, previously hinted that there were “rumblings” of his character appearing in Captain America 3 (more than once) and as it tuns out, he will be!


For the first time, ignoring his cameo in Thor, Renner gets to play Hawkeye in a Marvel film outside of The Avengers series. The confirmation comes from THR who report that Renner has signed on to co-star with Amy Adams in Story of Your Life, a sci-fi film to be directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners) later this year. Before production begins on that though, THR explains that Renner will be shooting Captain America: Civil War in April for directors Anthony and Joe Russo. Consider it confirmed.
Renner – and Robert Downey Jr. – join the Captain America 3 ensemble which already includes returning Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan alongside new characters to be played by Chadwick Boseman and Daniel Bruhl. It’s easy to see why Mackie and others refer to Civil War as another Avengers movie. Did we mention Spider-Man‘s almost certainly going to be in it too?


The confirmation, while a relief to fans of the Marvel Comics character waiting (like Renner) to see Hawkeye’s personality and wit on the big screen, isn’t a surprise. The star, who also has Mission: Impossible 5 opening in theaters this summer, knew this was happening and he hints at it as far back as last June in our Avengers: Age of Ultron set interview. Renner recently mentioned that his contract included The Avengers 3 and a Hawkeye spinoff and we explained why the solo option would likely be traded for a role in Cap 3.

It’s also possible that Robert Downey Jr. isn’t the only actor adding more pictures to his contract. Much has changed in the last year for Marvel Studios; They added additional pictures to their future film slate last summer, added another shortly after before unveiling their Phase 3 slate in the fall, and have since convinced RDJ to jump in on Civil War.
The recent deal between Sony and Marvel to bring the Spider-Man franchise into Marvel’s shared cinematic universe is also changing things up for the studio and potentially some of its stars as there are now more projects in development for the actors to have supporting parts in. The latest rumors indicate Downey Jr. may also have a role in the new Spider-Man solo movie in 2017 which would mean he’s added at least two pictures to his contract extension which initially only included The Avengers 2 & 3 .


Since we can expect Renner to be around up until The Avengers: Infinity War, we can discuss the other corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe he may appear on next: Marvel TV.
Adrianne Palicki joined the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for its second season on ABC and has since been bumped up to a series regular. As an actress gaining momentum as an action film star, Palicki explains in interviews that her character Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse has a strong chance of appearing in the films (part of the reason she accepted the role) and she has a desire to have the character share the screen with Hawkeye since the two have an important relationship in the comics. That’s only part of it…

The show’s star, Clark Gregg, teased a potential Hawkeye appearance this season and shortly after, Renner shot a few secret scenes as Hawkeye, lending credence to the idea that the two-time Oscar nominee may meet up with the remnants of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Such an appearance may be part of the show’s tie-in story with Avengers: Age of Ultron and the top secret missions he – and TV characters Bobbi and Mack as revealed in this week’s episode – are on.

When it comes to choosing sides in Captain America: Civil War, count on Hawkeye backing Steve Rogers. Renner tells us he’s not a company man and didn’t feel too upset about S.H.I.E.L.D. falling apart, but when Rogers or Nick Fury calls, he’ll answer.

Cine news:Freddie Highmore would love to be the new Spider-Man

Freddie Highmore has confirmed that he would love to star as Spider-Man in Marvel and Sony’s upcoming reboot of the beloved superhero. However, there’s just one problem: we’re still not exactly sure if it will be Peter Parker or Miles Morales who will don the iconic spandex. If it’s the former then Highmore might be in the running. If it’s the latter then he definitely won’t be.Highmore made this admission to IGN, who he was talking to about the upcoming new season of Bates Motel.He told IGN:

'' Obviously I would love to be considered. That would be fantastic. I guess we'll just see how things go. You always feel like you can identify with him. He's that kind of guy at school who wasn't perhaps in the really cool group, but who was extremely intelligent and managed to find confidence in being Spider-Man - in this other side to his life.''



 But would Freddie Highmore make a good Spider-Man? Well, even though his career is still in its infancy he has more than proved that he has a unique screen presence that can be both timid and imposing thanks to his roles in the aforementioned Bates Motel, as well as The Spiderwick Chronicles and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. But it's still a long-shot that he’ll actually get the chance to play Spider-Man.

We can expect an announcement regarding the new Spider-Man in the next few weeks, since the webbed-wonder is expected to make his debut in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War in 2016 ahead of the debut of his latest origin story with Sony in 2017.

Cine news: The Writer of Avengers Joss Whedon says Fans Haven't Seen Anything Yet

There’s a lot of pressure on Joss Whedon. Not only does Avengers: Age Of Ultron have to match, eclipse and build upon its 2012 predecessor, but there’s also an expectation that the sequel can be more than a blockbuster, and take the genre to a higher echelon. Rather than wilting, Joss Whedon’s comments regarding Age Of Ultron continue to suggest that this might actually be a possibility.

While talking to SFX last month, Whedon admitted that there are plenty of fan service scenes in Age Of Ultron, which have been specifically designed to get moviegoers salivating and weeping with joy over. "Oh, there’s more than one!" Whedon delightfully teased, before he then went on to proclaim that everyone who is working or has worked on Avengers: Age Of Ultron is absolutely killing it. Especially when it comes to the film’s action. When commenting on a recent screening of the film's latest cut, Whedon opened up:

''Some of this is the bomb. Some of this is really, really lovely. The actors are killing it, the sequences are exciting, the editors are amazing and Ben Davis, who shot it, has made it a work of art. There are some hardcore action sequences in this. But what’s really grand is how the characters play through those. It’s always got to be about the people. Not just the smaller moments, where they’re talking alone, but the way they’re interacting during the action is really exciting for me.''

And anyone who has laid their eyes on the third trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron will be more than aware that Whedon’s words look likely to become a reality later this summer. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should be both thoroughly ashamed of yourself and relieved that we’re about to offer you a chance to right this mammoth wrong below.

 At the moment, in this writer’s opinion there’s literally no-way that Avengers: Age Of Ultron can fail. The cast all are delightfully entwined with their characters. Whedon’s palpable excitement is plastered on the screen, while his additions to the posse and ambition for the project look set to elevate both the film and the genre. And rather than blatantly showing all of Age Of Ultron's finest moments, each of the trailers have incrementally built up expectation while also teasing that there is still plenty more to see. The only real concern is that expectations could be a bit too high now. But that’s a rather cynical way to look at it.

Either way we don’t have long to wait to see if Avengers: Age Of Ultron can deliver. The latest addition to Marvel’s Cinematic Universe will be with us on May 1, 2015, and it can’t come soon enough.
